I've watched 2 episodes now and the plot is already getting reptitious. Jennifer is nice to look at, but her acting ability isn't good enough to carry the show. It's also obvious that the network wants this show to be episodic - making each episode stand on its own and making it easier for stations to show reruns. But that won't work for a show like this. Being a guy, there are a couple of nice reasons to watch Jennifer Love Hewitt, but overall I agree with your assessment of the show.
