TV: ABC to Start Streaming “Lost”
By stephanie - Saturday, April 22nd, 2006
Don’t know why analysts are saying this is a bad idea: ABC is going to test out streaming episodes of “Lost” and “Desperate Housewives” after they air on regular TV.
Can I just say: Finally! Duh!
This is what the “media convergence” is all about. We should be able to download TV shows on demand, from the networks themselves…instead of getting them through (ahem) other means.

The anaysts say this is a bad idea because it doesn’t go with the plans of the Content Cartel: control over media.
If they start streaming, they have to lock it down to a particular set of hardware/software. That means that many people who want to get this will be unable to use it because they won’t support the DRMed hardware. And most of these people are geeks – very smart ones – who will promptly break the DRM or counter it with a better version of what the Content Cartel puts out.
Already I can have my DVR record Lost and have my system prepare it to put on my Archos AV700 (with a BIG screen) to play when/where I want.

Lost episode 7 – Not in Portland
Brainwashing Scene with Karl strapped to the chair in Room 23.
Seperated with surround sound and played backwards you can hear a creepy woman saying “Only fools are enslaved by time and space”
