Strong electro magnets, time travel, if anyone starts passing through solid objects that pretty much wraps it up. Or maybe im just biased being from Philadelphia lol. Anyway I don't think Desmond is having flashes but has become completely "untethered" from the normal time line. I think he is drifting through time with the currents of the space time continuum without an anchor to our linear time line, can't wait to find out!
