Holy crap. Wrestling? Maybe someone else will step up and be the new sci-fi, if sci-fi is going to be the new spike.

Glad people are starting to talk about the Dresden Files. It's one of my favorite shows, and I can't believe there's even a question about renewing it. I know Sci-Fi has an abyssmal record of supporting good shows, but you'd think it'd get it right once in a while. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, right? Since they're cancelling SG1 and Battlestar, you'd think they'd be looking for some core programming. I'm glad they're renewing Eureka, but what else are they going to air? Painkiller Jane? Wrestling??

Perhaps getting some buzz out about Dresden Files will influence TPTB to renew. Thanks for helping get the word out.

At this point I just assume, in general, that any halfway intelligent series is going to be canceled and wait for that before watching. When it's the sci-fi channel involved, I hike that almost up to certainty. I gave up on them when they trashed the friday night lineup with cancellation of the invisible man and that tabloid show.

I'd still watch if my voice actually meant anything, but that's the upside of neilson ratings. I can't vote up with my eyes, but I can't vote down either.
