Dan – The next episode will be aired on 12/7. In the meantime, the folks working hard towards renewal efforts for The Dresden Files will likely have another sit-in this Friday. Even sans show, I’m sure it’ll be a great time on the SciFi Forum.

Does anyone know when the next airing will be? I really miss Harry and Bob and lets not forget his friend Murphy!! The chemistry between them gets better and better.One can see he cares about her and she about him. In the last episodes of tdf, You could see Murphy was letting her guard down regarding her feelings about Harry and her father approved of him as well. Hmmmm. plenty of food for the writers there!!
I hope they bring back Harry and friends!

The Dresden Files drew a rather interesting crowd and was not even on the air. Due to the fiasco created by SciFi over scheduling and not airing a show that they had scheduled, which happens rather frequently. The view in scheduled when The Dreden Files was supposed to be on lasted longer than the show would have been on. It was great fun and now we get to have reruns with View In II.

Thank you for mentioning the “view-in” we hope to see you there. It is a lot of fun getting together with fellow Dresden Files fans. We are all hoping The Dresden Files gets renewed or picked up by another network.

Sci-Fi had the Dresden Files (TDF) on their schedule for 7 pm ET 11/9 since October and it continued there up to 7 pm ET 11/9. But it didn’t happen. No Dresden Files on Friday.

But we had a GREAT 1st TDF View-In despite the lack of TDF on the TV!! We posted pics from Boone Identity, the episode that was supposed to air, and played ‘name that scene’ or ‘quote that quote’, instead!!

It was tremendous fun!! We over-stayed a little because we were having so much fun, but for the 1-1/2 hours we were at the View-In, there were 252 comments posted!!! Since we fans abandoned the TDF forum on Sci-Fi after learning of the non-renewal, it has been averaging apx. 8 – 9 posts per day.

252 is OUTSTANDING!!!

Thanks so much for posting the news, and PLEASE feel free to come by for the fully functional TDF View-In on 11/16!! This time ALL the media schedules have TDF down for 7 pm ET- so, fingers crossed!!

Unfortunately SciFi didn’t cooperate and ran Bionic Woman instead. We had fun anyway with a “name that scene”-type trivia game and fans posted well into the night. However, TDF is scheduled again for 11/16 and we’ll be there. Weâ€™re more confident Dresden will run since this time it’s listed on many TV listings sites rather than just SciFi’s scheduling page.

A few newbies had some trouble registering and posting so if you haven’t set up your account on SciFi’s forums and want to join us on 11/16, please register a day or two prior so you can join in and be counted!

Bigger nudge– Paul’s prints will make EXCELLENT holiday gifts. I’ve bought several. Spring for the framing. They do a great job!
