His character will ( temporarily, I hope ? ) take Myka's place as an ATF agent who can tell when someone is or isn't telling the truth. It takes elements from these other shows - Friday the 13th the Series, The Librarian from TNT, as examples - & adds a new spin on them. A couple of episodes even had in - canon cross - overs with Douglas Fargo from " Eureka " & Claudia from Warehouse 13. I love that Monday nights on SyFy will feature both these shows, since " Eureka " has such slim, elegant, stream - lined solid state tech & WH 13 has slightly clunky, bulky, steam - punk designs & they deal with procuring, storing & neutralizing objects with paranormal properties. Shows like these are the only reasons I've stayed with SciFi ever since they've " re - branded " the network, changed logos & added a bunch of " reality shows " & wrestling ( !! ) to their lineup.
